This Cyber Awareness Training course provides participants with a foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles and practical strategies to protect organizational systems, data, and operations. The course introduces key cybersecurity concepts such as confidentiality, integrity, and availability, and examines real-world examples of cyber incidents in the transportation sector. Participants will learn how to identify common attack methods including phishing, malware, and social engineering and apply best practices for password management, safe internet and email use, and data protection.
Emphasizing the shared responsibility of cybersecurity, the training also covers the importance of physical security, multi-factor authentication, and timely incident reporting.
