The first in the Selecting Paratransit Software series, the session is designed to provide transit agency staff and managers with a comprehensive overview of the evolution of paratransit software applications, highlighting key differences and advancements in the field.

Topics will include the six ADA-required service criteria essential for compliance, an explanation of paratransit scheduling algorithms, including considerations such as time, distance, traffic, street networks, and assumed speeds, and the adaptation of rideshare software for paratransit use.
